HOW DO I CHECK EMAIL WHEN AWAY FROM MY PC?
Please remember that webmail is only for occasionally checking messages, setting up vacation responses or for troubleshooting email problems. Do not use webmail as your main email tool. Microsoft Outlook is installed on all NN PCs and should be the primary tool for email.

From here, sending and receiving email is similar to most other email programs. Use help if you’re not sure what the different features will do. Sent mail, by default, will show up in your webmail sent mail folder. If you want it downloaded to Outlook on your computer, copy yourself on the email so it will be in your inbox.

For vacation response:
Mouse over settings and a list of choices will appear. Select My Auto Responder:

Choose enable auto-responder. The default for limit responses to one per day can be left checked.

Choose auto-responder message tab, put in the NN message "I will be unavailable until (date of planned first working day back). If you need further assistance, please contact the Neighborhood Network office at 731-989-3550. Thank you." And click save. You will see a message that your settings have been saved.

You can now logout. When you return from vacation/leave, simply follow the above steps except uncheck enable auto responder and save the change.
The next time you want to enable the auto-responder message, the original message will still be there, you’ll only need to change the date.
